Does your commercial building use a lot of heating and have available space outside? If so then it could be worth looking at investing in a ground source heat pump to provide your heating and hot water needs.
Pipes buried underground absorb heat from the ground at low temperatures into a fluid inside the pipe. The fluid then passes through a compressor that raises it to a higher temperature, which can then be used to heat water for the heating and hot water systems of the building.
The pipes can be placed either horizontal or vertical into the ground and the length of them is determined by the buildings heating requirements.
