Gareth Eynon BSc (Hons), AIEMAGareth has spent the last six years achieving his BSc (Hons) in Environmental Studies with the Open University. He is currently writing for Energy Savings Warehouse whilst contemplating undertaking an MSc. His interests and fields of expertise are in sustainability, renewable technology, systems theory and climate change. He has a wife and two lovely daughters. They live in the beautiful city of Bath.His passion for saving the planet is born of his love for his family, his love of nature and his eternal hope that Humanity can do the right thing. |

Maggie Simmons BSc (Hons)Maggie has a BSc in Geography from Aberystwyth University where she focussed on sustainability, environmental monitoring and environmental management modules. Within these, she gained experience in assessing waste management practices and reporting on alternative energy sources. She is going on to study a MSc in Managing the Environment: Environmental Sustainability pathway with Aberystwyth University, in collaboration with the Centre for Alternative Technology in Machynlleth. In her spare time she enjoys various voluntary leadership roles within GirlguidingUK, outdoor activities and travelling. |

Alice Hands BSc (Hons)Alice Hands is currently studying for an MSc in Sustainable Cities at Kings College, London. Before this she completed a geography degree at Bristol University, which focused on issues such as climate change and environmental science in the public realm. This is where her interest in environmental issues and drive for sustainability grew. Since then she has gained practical experience working as part of the sustainability team at the Australian property company Lend Lease. Here she contributed to the production of internal strategy documents for Lend Lease’s sustainability goals. She has also worked as a volunteer for the Green Alliance. |

Chris Isherwood BSc (Hons). ASCMChris Isherwood graduated with a degree in Renewable Energy BSc with Honours from the Camborne School of Mines, University of Exeter in 2009 and is an Associate of the Camborne School of Mines (ACSM). Chris has a keen interest in encouraging people to save money and reduce their energy usage, especially giving helpful knowledge on the subject and producing an unbiased view. During University Chris was involved with a study into alternatives to a coal fired power station in a region of western Greece. His particular area was in reducing and recycling waste, and biomass and finding alternatives in generating energy from this. The project was published by the University and presented to local people, officials with interest on the subjects and the Mayor of the region. |

Christopher Parr BSc (Hons) MSc, CIWMChristopher is a recent graduate from the University of Central Lancashire having studied an MSc in Sustainable Waste Management. His areas of expertise include environmental management within organisations, environmental legislation and policy, waste minimisation and management, renewable energy technologies, and waste treatment technologies. Christopher has experience of working on a number of different environmental projects which include an environmental audit of an organisation, a comparative life cycle assessment, and a feasibility study of renewable energy technologies. |

Sarah Robertson BSc (Hons)Sarah graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a 2.1 in Geography (Ma) and is looking forward to starting an Msc in Environmental Technology in October at Imperial College London. She is deeply interested in environmental and sustainability issues and is hoping to develop towards a career in Environmental Consulting. What particularly interests her is the increasing challenges and opportunities businesses face in light of new environmental issues and how they innovate to become not just environmentally friendly, but also economically viable and socially equitable. Sarah’s other interests include skiing, travel, dancing, reading and music. |

Agnes DalosiAgnes has a background in corporate communications, with a focus on various sustainability and environmental issues. She has a BA in Economics, a Postgraduate Certificate in Environmental Studies from the University of Debrecen, Hungary, and is currently studying for an MSc in Renewable Energy Development at the Heriot-Watt University as well as a BSc in Environment and Geography at the London School of Economics. She has gained hands-on experience with environmental issues as a volunteer with the Food Ethics Council, Green Alliance, SolarAid, Piqqo and Minnesota-based Energy Users' Association. Her main areas of interest include renewable energy, climate change and Corporate Social Responsibility programmes. |

Steve Burgess BSc (Hons)Steve graduated from the University of Southampton in 2011 with a First Class Degree in Geography (BSc) and is continuing to study at the University for an MSc in Environmental Management. During his degree he became passionate about climate change, sustainability, environmental management and human-environment interactions. Steve also developed an interest in GIS and Remote Sensing; he used these in his dissertation to investigate vegetation changes, and the consequent effect on carbon uptake, in Alaska. Steve is keen to pursue a career in Environmental Consultancy and to continue to use GIS and Remote Sensing to monitor the environment. |
Laura Hobbs MSci (Hons)Laura graduated from the University of Bristol in 2008 with an MSci degree in Geology. She is currently undertaking doctoral research into the interactions between volcanic deposits and glaciers, which has wider implications for the Earth’s climate and water resources. Her interests lie in both understanding physical processes affecting the Earth’s system and in strategies for managing and conserving the planet’s natural resources on an individual to organisational scale.
